ADMINISTRATIVE PROTOCOL AND DOCUMENTATION SEMINAR

The two-day seminar for the Prioresses and the Sisters in Charge of the Delegation’s Apostolate, scheduled to be held on the 24th and 25th of April, 2025 commenced today. Thus, twenty-two Sisters converged at the Community of Ibadan for this purpose. The facilitators are Sr. Mary Fidelis Chukwumah, IHM and Sr. Mary Therese Okeke, IHM. The theme for the seminar is “ADMINISTRATIVE PROTOCOL AND DOCUMENTATION”. However, this theme is subsumed into diverse topics.

For today, Day One, “The SPIRITUALITY OF ADMINISTRATION was explored and this encompasses mindful administration, value-driven leadership, servant leadership and holistic administration. Succinctly, the Spirituality of Administration fosters the following: value-centred leadership, mindfulness and compassion in leadership. In other words, it discourages stiffness, stereotype and dogmatism. This brings about more meaningful and fulfilling approach in administrative work.

Other topics discussed include: Administrative Protocol, Decision Making and Implementation, Hierarchy, Communication and Administrative tools. 

Undoubtedly, the presentation of today was mind-blowing and inspiring.
